Roblox Gift Cards Indonesia: Robux, Credit and Redemption Guide

Roblox gift cards are mostly bought by adults, for themselves or as presents. They are easy to redeem, but the two kinds work differently, and one step is easy to miss.

What a Roblox gift card is

A Roblox gift card is a code that adds value to a Roblox account. There are two kinds:

• Roblox Top Up: its value is in rupiah and arrives as Roblox Credit. The Credit is then converted to Robux or a Roblox Premium subscription.
• Roblox Robux: adds a pack of Robux to the account directly.

Robux is the currency inside Roblox, spent on avatar items, game access and other features.

Roblox Credit and Robux

This is the part that confuses most people. After a Top Up card is redeemed, the Robux balance does not change. The value sits in the account as Roblox Credit.

To turn Credit into Robux:

1. Open roblox.com/redeem in a web browser.
2. Choose Get Robux. Roblox picks the largest Robux pack your Credit covers.
3. Press Buy.

Credit can only be spent in a browser, not in the app. If you cancel, the Credit stays where it is.

Values and packs

How to redeem a Roblox gift card

1. Open roblox.com/redeem in a browser, not in the app.
2. Sign in to the account you want to top up. If it is for a child, make sure it is their account.
3. Enter the PIN from the card or email, then press Redeem.
4. Top Up card: convert the Credit to Robux or Premium as above. Robux card: the Robux arrive straight away.

Redeem one card at a time, and watch for look-alike characters such as 0 and O.

Currency and region

Roblox Top Up cards for Indonesia are in rupiah. Roblox says codes can be redeemed worldwide, and the value converts to the account's currency when redeemed.

For an Indonesian account, an IDR card is simplest because nothing is converted. Robux prices in rupiah are shown in the account, based on its location.

Roblox's terms for Indonesia

Roblox's terms for Indonesian gift cards say:

• Rupiah cards are only for buying Credit on roblox.com.
• Credit is only for Robux and other Roblox services.
• Cards do not expire and carry no inactivity fees.
• Credit cannot be cashed out, refunded or moved to another account.
• Lost or stolen cards are not replaced.
• Cards from unauthorised sellers are not valid.

For parents and anyone giving Roblox as a present

Roblox's Terms of Use limit financial transactions, such as buying Robux, to users who have reached the age of majority. Parents are responsible for a child's purchases.

Since PP Tunas took effect on 28 March 2026, Roblox checks ages in Indonesia. In practice, a child's Roblox is bought by a parent or relative.

Three tips when buying for a child or as a gift:

• Redeem it together: redeem the code yourself on the child's account, so you know it reached the right one.
• Pick the right card: a Robux card is easier for a child to understand, because it is Robux straight away. Top Up is more flexible.
• Guard the code: the code is the value. Never share a photo of the card or the code email.

Buying from abroad. If you live outside Indonesia and are buying for someone there, you can send them a code by email. Roblox says codes redeem worldwide and convert, but an IDR Top Up card or a Robux card avoids any surprise in the amount.

Common problems

• No Robux after redeeming: it was a Top Up card, so the Credit has not been converted yet. Follow the Get Robux steps above.
• Wrong account: the code was redeemed while signed in to another account. Credit cannot be moved, so check the account before pressing Redeem.
• Invalid code: check look-alike characters, and make sure the code has not been used. If it still fails, contact the seller.
• Free Robux or "via login" offers: Roblox calls free Robux generators a scam. Never give anyone your account password.

Where to buy

Roblox gift cards are sold by many online shops, marketplaces and convenience stores in Indonesia, paid in rupiah.

Why have my Robux not appeared after redeeming a gift card?

If it was a Roblox Top Up card, the value arrived as Credit. Open roblox.com/redeem in a browser, choose Get Robux, then Buy. Also check you were signed in to the right account.
