Paying for Gift Cards with Crypto from Indonesia: Coins, Networks and Fees
Which coin, which network, how long it takes, and what you pay on top.
27 October 2026
CardsRelay takes Monero, Zano, Zcash, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Litecoin, Dash, Dogecoin, USDT, USDC and more, and emails the gift card code once the payment confirms. Two choices decide how smooth it is: the coin, which sets how fast the payment confirms, and for stablecoins the network. CardsRelay is a foreign merchant, so you pay in crypto, not rupiah.

Paying for a gift card with crypto takes a few minutes, and most problems come from two choices: the coin and the network. This guide covers both, what you pay on top, and how delivery and refunds work.
How a crypto payment works on CardsRelay
- Choose a card and a value, for example a Steam Wallet code for Indonesia or a Roblox card.
- Enter an email address. CardsRelay asks only for an email address.
- Choose a coin, and a network if it is a stablecoin. Checkout shows the exact amount and a timer.
- Send exactly that amount before the timer runs out. The amount is locked while it runs.
- The code arrives by email once the payment confirms.
The total, with CardsRelay's premium, is shown on the card page before you pay. See fees for how it is worked out.
Which coins you can use
CardsRelay accepts Monero (XMR), Zano and Zcash (ZEC), then Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana, Litecoin, Dash, Dogecoin, USDT and USDC. It is one of the only platforms that accepts Monero, Zano and Zcash together. The full list, with every network, is on the coins page.
Stablecoins: pick the right network
USDT and USDC run on several networks, and the network you send on must match the one you pick at checkout. Coins sent on the wrong network can be lost.
- USDT: Ethereum (ERC20), BNB Chain (BEP20), Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum and Avalanche.
- USDC: Ethereum, Base, Solana and Avalanche.
- Not accepted: USDT on TRON (TRC20). Many wallets and exchanges in Indonesia default to TRC20, so check before you send.
If your USDT sits on an exchange, choose one of the networks above when you withdraw, and send straight to the checkout address.
How long each coin takes

The code is sent when the payment confirms, and that depends on the coin.
- Dash: with InstantSend, the code usually arrives 3 to 6 seconds after you send. Your wallet needs no setting for it.
- Zano: a new block about once a minute.
- Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum and the rest: after network confirmation, usually a few minutes. Bitcoin can take longer when the network is busy.
If you are buying at the last minute, Dash is the quickest choice.
Monero and Zano
Both are accepted on every card.
- Monero (XMR): pay from any Monero wallet. The code is sent once the payment confirms on the Monero network, usually within minutes. More on spending XMR is in our Monero guide.
- Zano: hides amounts, addresses and asset types by default, at the protocol level. Its network fee is a flat 0.01 ZANO. fUSD, a stablecoin on Zano, is accepted too. More in our Zano guide.
What you pay on top: network fees and minimums
- Network fee: your wallet pays it, on top of the checkout amount, and it differs by coin and network. Bitcoin and Ethereum can cost more to send than a small gift card is worth.
- Minimums: each coin has a minimum payment, shown on the payment screen. For Bitcoin it can be higher than the smallest Steam Wallet values for Indonesia.
- Exact amount: send what checkout shows. An underpayment can hold up the order, and refunding it costs a fee and the network fee.
For small cards, Dash, Zano, Litecoin or USDT on a low-fee network make the most sense.
Delivery, faulty codes and refunds
- Delivery: the code goes to the email you entered. Check it is right before you pay.
- No chargebacks: crypto payments cannot be reversed once sent.
- Refunds: codes cannot be refunded once revealed, and buying the wrong brand or region is not grounds for one. A code that never arrives, or that the brand confirms is invalid, is replaced or refunded if you report it within 24 hours.
Buying from a foreign merchant
CardsRelay is operated by Payzy ME FZ Ltd and is not present in Indonesia. A purchase on CardsRelay is a transaction with a foreign merchant, so it does not need to be made in rupiah: you pay in the coin you choose, and the gift card arrives by email.
The cards themselves are in rupiah where the brand sells them that way, such as Steam Wallet IDR codes and Roblox Top Up IDR cards.
